About the photographer:
I have always enjoyed art. I went into college (NJCU) thinking that Graphic Design would be my major and it was for a little while. One of the classes I was required to take was photography. Growing up, I always enjoyed taking photographs. I always watched my mother take a lot of photos every where we went. When I took that one photography class and developed my first photo in a developing tray, I fell in love. Just seeing the image appear right before my eyes was amazing. I changed my major shortly after to photography.
A few years later, digital photography was starting to come out and I became really interested in learning all about it. My first good digital camera was the Nikon Coolpix 5700. I have since moved onto the Olympus E30 and love it. I also enjoy bringing my photographs into Photoshop and letting my creativity run wild.
A year or so ago, I found out my father also had a love for photography. We enjoy going to the Photoplus show every year at Javitts and taking seminars together. We also like to take day trips, when possible, to explore our love for photography. It has been an excellent bonding experience for us so far and I am glad I have someone close to me to share photography with. My mother is my number one fan and I love sharing the final images with her.
I started my business, so that I could sell my work to art lovers and people who truly appreciate the beauty around us. I enjoy shooting mostly nature and animals, but all subjects interest me. All of the work is done by me, from the photo taking to the matting of the photos. I appreciate you taking the time to look at my photographs and hope you enjoy your time viewing the beautiful places and things I have seen. Beauty is all around us at all times. Photography is my way of capturing that beauty so that you can keep it and treasure it always.
When I am out in nature shooting, I feel like I'm in a different world. Nothing else matters there, except the camera and my subject. Everyone should experience this feeling if they haven't already. It seems like time stops, if only for a moment. Whatever your passion is, go for it and experience this wonderful moment.
I still have a love for design and love to create things whenever possible. Scrapbooking is another love for me, in which I can incorporate my photography and design skills. It's the best of both worlds and keeps me busy.
