Pet Photography Information
I photograph animals in natural light and indoor sessions are best scheduled when your home has the most daylight. However, when indoor natural light is limited or less than perfect, your house lighting with my flash will be fine and the color can be adjusted later if needed. I don’t use any additional lighting equipment because I don’t want your pet to be uncomfortable or afraid. Strange bright lights do not put pets at ease. Outdoor sessions are most effective when the sunlight is not too harsh. This would be the ‘magic hour’ either early morning or late afternoon. Outdoor sessions in the hot summer are limited.

Terms and Conditions
Sitting Fee
The sitting fee for pet photography is $50, payable by cash or check at the beginning of the session. This includes unlimited photos, up to 1 hour of photography for 1 pet and basic color correction/retouching. Please note the entire hour may not be needed. Travel is up to 50 miles (one way) from zip code 08848 to either your home or location of your choice. Tax is included in the sitting fee price. Tax is not included for any add-on’s or photos and will be charged separately. This does not include any photos. Please see price list for cost of prints.
Add-on’s
1 pet may be photographed in the 1 hour block. If you wish to have more than 1 pet photographed the same day, please let me know in advance. Each additional pet will be $5 and will include an extra 15 mins of photography time. Additional miles over the 50 miles will be $5.00 per each 25 miles.
Rescheduling and Cancellation
Appointments need to be made at least 1 week in advance. Add-on’s must be paid with the sitting fee at the beginning of the session.
Please give at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If less than 48 hours notice is given before the scheduled appointment, you may be subject to a $15 rescheduling fee.
Injury/Damage/Copyright
You are agreeing to have Aurora Selvaggio and 1 assistant access to your private home or location of your choice for photography purposes. Aurora Christina Photography (owner/photographer Aurora Selvaggio and assistant) cannot be held responsible for any damage to property or injury incurred during the photography session. The copyright of all images relies solely with Aurora Selvaggio, her heirs and legal representatives.
Gallery, Shipping and Ordering
On the day of the appointment, you will receive an order form and a stamped envelope (unless photos will be picked up or hand delivered). After the photographs are taken, a link to a website containing your pet’s photo gallery and instructions will be emailed to you. Please view the private gallery and choose your photos. Fill out the order form and mail back to me with payment. Payment can be sent by check or money order. If you would like to pay with a credit card, please send the order form back and wait for the email invoice to pay. Once your order form and payment is received, your photos will be mailed within 14 business days. If needed sooner, rush charges may apply. Please discuss this before making the appointment. Report any discrepancies within the first 7 days of receipt of the photos. After that, all sales are final. Shipping is free for all photos sized up to 8x10. If ordering photos sized larger than 8x10, shipping charges will apply. All photos will be shipped unmatted. Your photo gallery will be viewable for 30 days from posted email date. If you would like to view the gallery at a later date, please email me and it will be viewable for an additional 5 days. If you do not have an email address, contact sheets can be mailed to you. Please note, contact sheets need to be mailed back or purchased at $5/sheet. Amount of sheets will vary with amount of photos taken.
Referral/Repeat Customer
If you were referred to me by a previous client of mine, you will receive a free 5x7 photo. After your appointment date, your friend will receive a complimentary 5x7 of their choice as a thank you. If you are a repeat customer, you will receive a free 8x10 as a thank you.
Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with your pet’s photos, another appointment can be arranged at no additional fee.
